VOXWISH

A game where you build from the Stone Age to 2077

VoxWish starts with a crash: your flying car goes down in 2077 and you wake up in the Stone Age. You build your way home, age by age, on the same spot — from a camp around a fire to the neon city of 2077. It is a voxel survival game, and the first two ages are free in your browser.

Six ages, one place

1 · The Camp
Tents around a fire — your people move in one by one.
2 · The Village
Fields, a well, a bread oven — the settlement puts down roots.
3 · The Castle Town
Moat, wall and keep — a tournament by day, a siege in the night.
4 · The Harbour
Masts and salt, a voyage over the sea — and the boiler it brings home starts the steam.
5 · The City of Today
Concrete, glass, traffic lights — rent, and everything costs.
6 · The Cyberpunk City
Neon and rain, vending machines everywhere — 2077.

The ages do not happen on separate maps. One place changes: the old fades where the new appears, and a short time-lapse shows the next age arriving.

How you move on

Each age has a tree of tasks on your tablet — the route home. Finish them, and the next age begins. Underneath it all is a survival game: hunger, thirst and cold, a campfire that needs fuel, and nights that are dangerous. More in a free survival game in your browser.

What is free

The Camp and the Village are free in the browser, with no download, no account needed and no ads. The Castle Town and every age after it come with the full version, which is coming to Steam: add VoxWish to your Steam wishlist.

Built from your wishes

Press F1 while you play and wish for anything. Every wish we take on lands on the public wish board, and what we build stays there with both dates: when it was wished for, and when it landed in the world.
