VOXWISH

About VoxWish

VoxWish is a voxel survival sandbox that runs in your browser. No download, no ads, and no account needed. You open the page and you are in — on a desktop with mouse and keyboard, or on a phone with touch controls.

A world that behaves like a world

Trees do not vanish when you cut them. They tip, they fall, and they land where physics puts them. Structures can break. Animals swim, flee and graze, birds fly, fish move under the surface, and they load with the terrain instead of popping into place. Cave systems are generated so that every corridor, hall and shaft can actually be walked — no dead noise pockets.

Hunger, thirst, cold and sickness act on your body, not on a bar. Your sight blurs, your steps slow, your hands shake. A campfire needs fuel. Water goes bad unless you boil it. Tools wear out. There is a fishing rod, there are buckets, and there is a neon city glowing at the edge of the wilderness. At night, a panther hunts.

Built from your wishes

Press F1 while you play, or use the wish button on the start page, and wish for anything — a block, an animal, a mechanic, a whole feature. Every wish lands on the public wish board. We read all of them. Nothing appears on the board until we take it on, and what we build stays there with both dates: when it was wished for, and when it landed in the world. The board is our roadmap, and you write it.

Before the board opened we built a few of our own wishes — campfires that need fuel, trees that really fall, a fishing rod, buckets, water that goes bad. They are not on the log: no player asked, so there are no dates to show.

Painted on cubes

The world is cubes, but the surfaces are painted instead of noisy. We spend the realism on behaviour, not on polygons.

Your worlds are yours

Worlds save in your browser. Export a world as a file to keep it, or to carry it to another browser or device. If you make an account, you can also keep up to 5 MB of worlds in the cloud and open them on another device. We count sessions, not people: without an account there is no cookie, no fingerprint and no stored address — and the wish box stores none of those either. What an account keeps is listed, field by field, on our privacy page, next to the whole list of what we count and what we don't: https://voxwish.com/privacy

Questions we get

Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in a current Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari with WebGL.
Does it cost anything?
No, and there are no in-game purchases.
Do I need an account?
No. Everything in the game works without one. An account keeps your worlds in the cloud, gives you a profile, and tells you when your wish was built. No email, no password — just a name and a passkey. Twelve recovery words are an optional backup in your profile.
Is there multiplayer?
No. VoxWish is a single-player game.
How fast do wishes get built?
Small ones quickly, big ones take longer. We do not promise a date — the board shows the real ones, both of them.
Where do I see what changed?
On the wish board. The "Already in the world" list is empty until the first wish ships — that is the log, and it only fills with real dates.
Can I take my world with me?
Yes. Export it as a file from the worlds screen and import it anywhere. With an account you can also upload it and open it on another device.
